DAANS
“STAR AWARDS”

DAANS organizes an annual “Star Awards Luncheon”
to honor the three top students from each of its member
schools.  This luncheon is traditionally held at the end of
April with over 900 guests in attendance.  It is truly an honor for
a student to receive this prestigious award!

The Star Awards are presented to exemplary
students nominated by their schools.
A Star Student sets an example for others to follow,
whether in the home, school or community.
A Star Student excels in one or more of these areas:
academics, community service, citizenship, fine arts, athletics,
student activities, perseverance, effort, dedication,
commitment to positive goals, improvement in
performance, and attitude.
